Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how the TankMeter application (hereinafter — "Application"), developed by DONISS OÜ (reg. no. 12293208, Estonia), collects, uses and protects personal data of its users.

By using the Application, you agree to the terms of this Policy. If you do not agree — please do not use the Application.

We only collect data necessary for the service to function:

• Email address — used for account creation and authentication.
• Measurement data — results of tank car measurements (volume, mass, tonnage and related parameters) that you enter in the Application. This data is stored on the server and linked to your account.

We do not collect location data, contacts, photos, payment card details, or any other information not listed above.

• Providing access to your account and synchronizing data across devices.
• Storing and displaying your measurements and calculations.
• Technical support and troubleshooting.
• Sending service-related notifications (when necessary).

Your data is stored on secure servers. Data transmission between the Application and the server is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.

Only authorized personnel have access to your data, and only when necessary to support the service.

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes.

Data may only be disclosed in cases required by applicable law or upon a justified request from authorized bodies.

To measure site traffic we use a self-hosted Umami analytics instance running on our own server. It sets no cookies, stores no IP addresses and collects no personal data — only anonymous, aggregated statistics: pages viewed, referrer, browser type and country. This data is never shared with third parties.

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by writing to: rtc@doniss.ee. Data will be deleted within 30 days of receiving the request.

The Application is intended for professional use and is not directed at persons under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this Policy. In case of significant changes, you will be notified via email or through the Application. Continued use of the Application after publication of changes constitutes your acceptance of them.
